Found safe: Woman missing since hike Monday

Deputies thanked the public for information that helped them track down a woman who had been reported missing after last being seen hiking near Tucson on Monday. Shih-Ming Laura Yeh, 46, was located by the Pima County Search and Rescue Unit on Friday, and "and she is fine," authorities said.

Yeh had last been seen Monday around 3 p.m., hiking near Colossal Cave. A Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman had asked for the public's help in finding her on Thursday night.

"We would like to thank the public for the information they provided which led us to Ms. Yeh's location," Deputy Cody Gress said Friday afternoon.

Gress didn't provide any details about where Yeh was located, or what led to her being reported missing.
