3:07 p.m.: TUSD Boardmember Mark Stegeman talked ending social promotion and holding kids back who do not meet educational standards. He also gave an update on the search for a new superintendent, and how we might duplicate the performance of University High.

3:35 p.m.: Ward 6 Tucson City Councilman Steve Kozachik talked about his "no" vote on pay raises for city employees. He also discussed public transit and downtown development.

4:07 p.m.: Ward 2 Councilman Paul Cunningham followed Kozachik by giving his reasons for a "no" vote on raises.

4:25 p.m.: Financial advisor Shelly Fishman talked about the "Twitter" flash-crash and the vulnerabilities that come with stock trading in the electronic age.

4:40 p.m.: Ron Shoopman, president of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, talked about the SALC's call for the resignation of Pima Community College board members.
