Deputies: Missing 85-year-old man found safe

An elderly Tucson man who "becomes disoriented easily" was located and reunited with his family Monday after going missing for much of the day. The man had last been seen driving a white Nissan truck south on the Northwest Side on Monday morning.

Wayne Eugene Hoskinson was last seen around 11 a.m., behind the wheel of the truck driving south on La Cholla Boulevard from Rudasill Road, a spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff's Department said earlier.

Hoskinson "has been located and reunited with family," Deputy Ryan Inglett said in a news release around 6 p.m. PCSD had asked the public to be on the lookout for the man earlier in the day.
