Eileen J. Bednarz, 1939-2019

Eileen J. Bednarz (nee Brandt), 79, passed away in Tucson, Ariz., on March 25, 2019, after a prolonged illness.

Born in Stillwater, Minn., in 1939, Eileen was the daughter of Irving "Bing" and Laura (Anderson) Brandt.

A 1957 graduate of Minneapolis Vocational High School, she resided in the Twin Cities area until the summer of 1980, when she moved to Tucson. She retired from Kino Community Hospital in 2003 after 17 years of service in their medical records office.

She loved taking walks, enjoying the desert climate. She also loved Western films, and was an especially avid fan of Roy Rogers and John Wayne. She was an enthusiastic fan of Minnesota Vikings football. Nothing made her happier, however, than spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Michi, and her grandson Thunder. She is survived by her son Bret and daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandchildren Dante and Jasmine, sister Kay (Don) Esler, brother Dale (Barb) Brandt, and many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces, all of whom she loved very much.

Happy trails to you, until we meet again. Happy trails to you, keep smiling until then.
