Third man arrested in Peterson killing
18-year-old faces charges of hiding Tucson man's body
A third man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the killing of a 21-year-old Tucson man whose remains were found in the desert Jan. 13, the Tucson Police Department said.
Detectives from the Home Invasion Unit arrested 18-year-old Tyler Brown for abandonment/concealment of a body, said TPD spokeswoman Sgt. Maria Hawke.
Jordan "JP" Peterson was last heard from on Nov. 16 when he told his roommate that he would return to his home on Bella Vista Drive later that evening.
His truck was found by the Marana Police Department on Nov. 18. His body was found in the desert in Pinal County on Jan. 13.
Bryan Lamar Lee, 21, and Reed J. Marrone, 18, have been charged with first-degree murder in the case.
Lee turned himself into Houston, Texas, police on Jan. 21 after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Jan. 17. Marrone was arrested by TPD officers on Feb. 22.
Details about the three men's alleged involvement in Jordan's death were not available.
Police ask anyone with information about the case to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
