Update: Missing elderly woman found dead on West Side

An 87-year-old woman who was reporting missing Sunday after visiting a drug store on the West Side was found dead about two miles away on Monday morning. Police said no foul play was suspected.

Ramilda Guglielmo, who had dementia, drove to the Walgreens at West Grant and North Silverbell roads Sunday morning. She was seen on video leaving the store about 10:30 a.m., but did not return to her vehicle, Tucson Police Department spokesman Sgt. Pete Dugan said.

Guglielmo was found dead about two miles away, in the 3300 block of North Crest View Drive, around 9:40 a.m. Monday.

"The exact cause of death is undetermined at this time, but there appear to be no signs of foul play," Dugan said. "It appears that Mrs. Guglielmo wandered away from the store on foot and became disoriented."
