Tucson call center to add 500 jobs

A call center in Tucson has announced plans to hire up to 500 more workers here over the next week.

C3/CustomerContactChannels will add employees at its center at the Foothills Mall, company representatives said.

C3 said starting pay is $12 hourly for English-speaking employees, and $13 for those who also speak Spanish. Arizona's minimum wage increased to $10.50 in January.

Full-time positions are available for customer service agents, supervisors and quality assurance representatives, C3 said in a press release.

The company provides customer-contact services for healthcare, travel and telecommunications firms.

C3 also has a call center on Tucson's Southwest Side, on Drexel Road.

Interested candidates can apply online or at the center at 7325 N. La Cholla Blvd., Suite 200.

In 2016, the company said it was nearly doubling operations in Tucson, hiring more than 1,000 workers here.
