Gary Norman Otto, 1947 - 2018

Gary Norman Otto, born in Tucson on January 10, 1947, passed away February 7, 2018, after a brief struggle with pancreatic cancer. He lived in Tucson for much of his life, having graduated from Flowing Wells High School in 1964 and the University of Arizona in 1972. He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and medic in the 82nd Airborne Division.

He married Chriss (Oliver) Otto July 24, 1970, and they had three children — Monica, Michael, and Mark. Gary was founder & president of the construction company, Design Masonry. They moved to California in 1989 where he served as president of Proto II Wall Systems.

He was an avid U of A sports fan, golfer, and world traveler. Most of all he was a passionate family man and true friend to many. He is survived by his wife Chriss, Monica and A.J. Sarrat, Michael Otto, sister Lynn Nelson, and grandchildren, Maila and Zoey Sarrat.
