Woman missing from South Side found

A woman reported missing from her South Side home Saturday was found and is back with her family, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said Sunday morning.

Alexis Margarita Alvarez-Bernal, 20, was found at about 6:45 on Sunday morning at Casino del Sol on Valencia Road by officers from the Pasqua Yaqui Police Department, said PCSD Deputy Dawn Barkman.

Alvarez-Bernal, who suffers from schizophrenia and has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old, was reported missing Saturday evening from her home in the 5800 block of S. Aldorn Drive. She'd last been seen around 5 p.m. that day.
