Authorities ID 2 men killed in Tucson plane crash

The two men who were killed when a small airplane crash at Tucson International Airport on Monday have been identified by authorities as Jeffrey Green, 56, and Daniel Rodriguez, 38.

Green was the pilot of the Beechcraft 300 Super King Air private plane, with Rodriguez a passenger on a flight to Mexico. The plane hit a blast wall at the Tucson airport as it crashed just after takeoff.

The two men were IDed using dental records on Thursday, officials with the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner said. Both men "died as result of blunt force and thermal injuries."

National Transportation Safety Board officials are investigating the crash.
