Shivers! Freezing temps for Tucson, Southern Arizona
The National Weather Service is cautioning of widespread freezing weather in the Tucson area Tuesday night, with temperatures dropping into the teens and 20s before dawn Wednesday. Wrap your pipes, cover your plants, bring your pets inside and be kind to people who are outdoors at night.
While the Weather Service stopped short of issuing a freeze warning, areas east and south of Tucson will see a hard freeze, with temperatures well below 32 degrees in Santa Cruz, Cochise, Graham and Greenlee counties, officials said.
