Ducey aide to hold short-notice budget briefing in Tucson

The fiscal planner for Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey will hold a meeting Wednesday morning in Tucson to present the governor's draft of a state budget to the public.

The briefing will be held at Pima Community College's district office, in Room 105 of Building C, 4905 E. Broadway, at 10 a.m.

Lorenzo Romero, director of the Governor’s Office Of Strategic Planning and Budgeting, will run down Ducey's suggested budget, which was released last week.

The meeting will be open to the public. It was announced with less than 24 hours notice in an email to the press.

Romero will also make a presetation in Flagstaff at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
