New stripes for eastbound I-10/SR 83 ramp will delay traffic Monday
Motorists exiting eastbound Interstate 10 onto State Route 83 in Vail should expect lane shifts and possible delays on Monday, Jan. 7, Arizona Deparment of Transportation officials said.
Flaggers and law enforcement will direct traffic through the work zone between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. while crews place final striping for the new exit ramp.
Vehicles over 12 feet wide or 70 feet long must use an alternate route during the work.
Westbound I-10 ramps and the entrance ramp from SR 83, which runs south to Sonoita, to eastbound I-10 will not be affected.

Officials said drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
