Well, this is great news and a great decision. I didn’t see how the court could make any decision other than the one they did.

ARS 15-112 is a good law and is very clear and unambiguous. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that any reasonable person should have any problem with any part of that law.

Based on everything I could see and hear during the controversy, it was obvious that TUSD wasn’t even close to complying with the law.

What sickened me the most about MAS was not about the hate and resentment it generated, but that it could be used as a substitute for American History. That’s right…TUSD was graduating kids who took the hate class but didn’t take American History. In my mind, anyone graduating high school without taking American History is nothing shout of absolute lunacy.

TUSD, please finally do the right thing and shut down MAS. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was over 150 years ago. It’s LONG past time for everyone to accept it, and stop indoctrinating future generations into this mindset of hate.

I agree that I could not see how they could make any other decision unless funny business was taking place.  With books such as “Occupied America” with “quotes” such as “Kill the gr—go” (pg. 323 of the 5th edition) and “...execute all white males over age 16…” or “Message to Aztlan” where the author says “We must destroy capitalism” & “any gov’t. run by capitalism is run by greed” and the filthy words in this book (the “f” word, the “b” word, the “bs” word, the “a” word & more (this book is for 3RD GRADERS & UP!) and books such as “Borderlands” with terrible words for blacks and other curse words or “Culture Clash in America” where one of the plays says “Death to Americans” (& all the curse words)- who wants such books in our schools! Teaching the overthrow of our nation is against the law and the criminal sentence is, I believe, up to 20 yrs. in prison.  Mexico and many, many Mexicans & Chicanos have had this agenda to not only take over the SW but also the nation for several decades now in our public schools & their private Mex. schools; and many even plan to make “Anahuac” here (the whole continent) by their Mayan calendar date 12/21/12. Let’s prove them wrong and get this trash out of our schools. They’re telling their own kids lies to make this REVOLUTION! Mexico only owned the SW for 24 years - the LEAST OF EVERYONE! G-D BLESS THE U.S.A.!!!

Mr. Hupp, and Mr. Pedicone, in your heart of hearts do you really think that teaching racism and violence in schools is in compliance or morally acceptable? Do you really want arizona kids growing up being taught by your MAS studies to hate white people and their country? You sirs if you believe in these unamerican morally corrupt practices are guilty of misrepresenting everything that our country tries to stand for. Vergonzoso.

The Mexican American courses simply teach the truth.  Many “white” people get upset with the truth.  There is nothing racist or hostile about teaching that which is not fiction.  There is something wrong with teaching fictionalized history that these same “white” people condone.  Yuck.  It’s repulsive.

Evidently an administration judge has looked at MAS and decided that the “TRUTH” liz, violates the law. I wonder why? I think Liz you are simply trying to play the old race card. Why dont you think of yourself first as an American, ethnicity and race an interesting second.

I think in April we were shown the quality of people that MAS churns out. Not exactly the kind of people I want my generation leaving the world to.

“many “white” people get upset about the truth”  “There is something wron with teaching fictionalized history that these same “white ” people condone.” Liz, try substituting a different “color” for white and tell me you wouldnt scream racism.  Ya see it always works two ways. Some people just cant comprehend this. I believe anytime you lump together a race as having a same mind think, as you have just done in your short paragraph, well, in your words Liz, Yuck. Repulsive.
