Medicaid squeeze could strangle some rural hospitals

Facilities struggle in wake of AHCCCS cuts

Across the state, rural hospitals are facing “significant and irreversible harm,” as the Medicaid-dependent facilities see already thin margins squeezed by AHCCCS cuts and by swelling numbers of Medicaid and uninsured patients.

Now that a budget surplus has arisen, Brewer wants to sent her cronies on boondoggle trips to Asia to promote Arizona tourism.  These same people promote the Rosemont mine and block cross border shoppers.  Please contact your statehouse representative and tell them to fund the rural hospitals with part of the surplus and put the rest into a rainy day fund. 
They can use Facebook and Arizona residents that already travel to advocate as tourism ambassadors.
