Tighter air standards might raise flags in dusty Maricopa

The City of Maricopa has the worst particulate-matter pollution in the state, according to an analysis of EPA data. City officials don't dispute the numbers but note that the city air-quality monitor is located in the worst possible place, near a dusty feedlot and industrial plants.
