Thinking about water

Sprawled, single-family house subdivision urban Arizona is not sustainable, much less one adding a million people or doubling in size or whatever the latest boosterish nonsense is peddled. The business model of population growth won't work.

OK. I read this. While it was an interesting and at times education read, it was basically just complaining. Maybe I need to read again or something, but I’m not seeing any proposed solutions.

I know what Tucson is doing…with their nothing short of insane election results, coupled with a refusal to do anything about traffic that has a realistic chance at success, they’re trying to drive people out of Tucson. With the lack of jobs here it will eventually work. But, what about Phoenix? Often when one flees Tucson for more economic opportunity and more sane election results, they flee to Phoenix. They’re in the same boat as Tucson water-wise.
