What’s the point to this story? I’m not seeing it. Like Hispanics have a monopoly on tough times or something? I got a great idea…why don’t we shut down racist programs like La Raza, and use the money that saves to feed hungry children? It’s a win-win!

“A mother was speaking to me, who said,I’m afraid to sign up for food stamps, because if I sign up for food stamps my kid will be enlisted in the Army,’” said Dario Muralles, an outreach coordinator for Capital Area Food Bank.

This sort of rampant stupidity and ignorance explains how Grijalva and much of the city council keeps getting elected.

If everyone around here took their heads out of the sand and started actually paying attention to the world around them, things would be very different around here and can finally start getting better.

suggestion…. quit cooking with lard, and that actually is a good idea. Apply for food stamps and your kid gets to eat in the army.
