Social Security was an ill-conceived ponzi scheme right from the start. But we can’t just “call it off”, because folks have paid in to it and are entitled to get returns on the money they had no choice but to pay.

Any ponzi scheme is doomed for inevitable collapse, and Social Security is no exception. We need to start forming an exit strategy now, or some generation is going to get cheated out of their benefits when the ponzi scheme does collapse. I just hope that generation isn’t mine.
