Barber's bill on troop death benefits passes House

Just a day after being introduced by U.S. Ron Barber, a bill to fund death benefits for armed forces members despite the federal shutdown passed the House with a unanimous vote, 425-0.

You know, were it not for his hypocrisy and blatant dishonesty during his campaign against Jesse Kelly, I could like what this guy is doing in Congress. Since he got there, he has made several votes I would have in his place. But, I can’t get over his lies. In my mind, how he does his job will forever be tainted by how he got his job.
