“It’s about modernization and reform,” Grijalva said. “It is not about elimination.”

I’ll add this to the very long list of examples why this idiot has no business in any elected office anywhere.

Social Security is a ill-conceived ponzi scheme that we as a nation need to get out of. I agree it’s tricky, as it’s not charity we need to figure out how to get out of it while giving people what they’ve paid into it, but make no mistake…we NEED to end this!

Anyone who thinks this program is stable for the long-term can’t do math. We need to form some sort of exit strategy, and start working on it now. If we don’t, Social Security will collapse and some future generation is going to get cheated out of its contributions. I just hope that generation isn’t mine, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it is :(.

Oh, and Grijalva…

-lose some weight
-get a haircut
-wear a tie

Even though you don’t deserve the job, you’re representing people. You owe it to them to at least attempt to appear as if you have some respect for yourself and the district that was stupid enough to put you into the job that you don’t deserve.
