Despite arsenic, Tombstone water taps keep running

Arsenic levels in Tombstone’s tap water have increased because the town’s supply of mountain water has been reduced and well usage increased, but residents continue to drink from the faucet.

I guess it really is “The Town Too Tough To Die.” Between arsenic and cyanide (from leaching in the silver mines), how do these people survive with their water? We weren’t allowed to drink from the water fountains when I went to Tombstone High.
