9th Circuit upholds death sentence for Cochise County man

A federal appeals court upheld Monday the death sentence of Richard D. Stokley for the rape and murder of two 13-year-old Elfrida girls in 1991.

Farrah Fawcett stars in “The Burning Bed”, and all of a sudden no one is responsible for their actions any more…

Just like with the Loughner case, I really don’t care if a defendant is mentally ill or brain damaged or whatever. If you did it then you did it. I could buy self-defense or defense of others as an excuse, but I could NEVER buy “he didn’t know what he was doing” crap.

Things weren’t like this decades ago. Once I even tried to google where and when the criminal justice system lost it’s way and started buying into this crap, and I couldn’t find anything.

Anyway, props to the 9th circuit for making a rare correct decision by denying his appeal.
