Arizona cities lag far behind in economic growth

Economic growth in Arizona’s metropolitan areas was a fraction of the national growth rate for metro areas in 2010, according to figures released Tuesday. No metro area in Arizona grew more than 0.7 percent, and two regions – Yuma and Prescott – actually saw GDP shrink.
