Regular readers of my comments know I am an adamant opponent of illegal immigration. However, I believe that birthright citizenship should remain intact.
I agree that illegals coming here with the intention of giving birth here so they themselves can somehow stay is a very big problem that unnecessarily drains our resources. But, the solution isn’t changing our most sacred document. The solution is bringing border security to an adequate level so that it is far more difficult for the border jumpers to come here and exploit a system that is intended to help our own people.
