Two Nicaraguan men wait in Tijuana, Mexico as their asylum case moves through the use court system, as part of a new program, launched last year by Homeland Security officials called the Migrant Protection Protocols. Originally named 'Remain in Mexico' the program requires people wait in Mexico despite the dangers for migrants in border cities in northern Mexico.

A surge of migrants arriving at the border has pushed the country’s immigration system to the breaking point as new policies aimed at both undocumented immigrants and legal asylum seekers have contributed to a humanitarian crisis. Tucson is already helping these people, Look at the refugee staying at the juvenile detention center. I am not again st immigration but I am against Illegal immigration, when I see the invasion at our southern border. Like I said in my original statement why does Tucson have to be a sanctuary city. We are doing fine just as an American city. We still need the law enforcement and ICE to do it’s job and not let a sanctuary rules stop them. Some of the Illegals are realizing they made a mistake invading the United States and taking advantage of a free ride back to their own country. Oh I forgot nothing is free, American taxpayers are paying for the this ride.
