Chances of climbing economic ladder are mixed in Az

Location matters when it comes to the chances that a child born into poverty in Arizona will move up the economic ladder during his lifetime. A recent study showed that a Tucson child from a family in the bottom-fifth income level has a 7.6 percent chance to rise to the top fifth by adulthood.
