Border Patrol agents seize more than 2 tons of pot Wednesday night

Border Patrol agents working a checkpoint Wednesday night near Whetstone—just north of Sierra Vista—seized a semi-truck and livestock trailer containing about 4,450 pounds of marijuana valued in excess of $2.2 million, an unsigned news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.
