Cable giant Comcast will open a new 100,000-square-foot call center in Tucson, staffed by about 1,125 workers, the company said Thursday, announcing plans at a Phoenix press conference with Gov. Doug Ducey and Mayor Jonathan Rothschild. A location for the facility was not disclosed; company officials said negotiations are ongoing.
