Local First effort expands to Spanish-speaking community

Local First Arizona is trying to reach Spanish speakers through Fuerza Local — Spanish for Local Force — in an effort to attract more shoppers from the Latino community to buy locally.

Well, don’t make the same mistake too many other business owners make…

Most people around here who speak Spanish also speak English. It doesn’t work the other way around. So, when you market only in Spanish, you’re freezing out a substantial percentage of your customer base and wasting those advertising dollars. I mean, hey, if you wanna waste money then it’s yours to waste, but I am giving good advice here.

I’m sure Local First still plans to market in English the same way they always have, they’re just attempting to reach out to a community that does not speak English at all or very well. This campaign would be additional to what they’re already doing.  So, reaching out to assist an under-served community is not a waste of money in my opinion.
