Daily Star parent gives execs $1.1 million in bonuses

Lee Enterprises, the troubled newspaper chain the owns the Arizona Daily Star, is yet again giving top executives six-figure bonuses. The company's reasoning? Lee's honchos revamped the chain's debt load, stretching out payment terms while slightly bumping the interest rate as Lee refinanced about $800 million in debts.

Astounding; no doubt Lee Enterprises will continue down their path of liberal news bias and fiscal irresponsibility until the newspaper goes down in flames.

I don’t know why these so called rich Republicans don’t buy out the Red Star on the cheap and change it to a non-biased, journalism orientated newspaper.

There’s a huge profit to be made there.
