Ex-staffers not surprised by patient death

Sierra Tucson, one of the nation's most prominent residential behavioral health clinics, is under investigation following the January suicide of a patient at the facility north of Tucson. The incident was the third death of a patient there in the past seven years. Former staffers were not surprised at the recent suicide, saying it was just a matter of time before a lack of trained staff would lead to another death.

I’m never advocating suicide, and I’m not taking a side in this dispute. But, to be fair, this should be said:

There are some mental illnesses that are terminal. If someone really wants to end it all, they’re going to find a way to do it.
