Az official: Proposed carbon emissions goals too harsh

Arizona would have to cut carbon emissions by 52 percent by 2030, the second-steepest cuts in the nation, under the EPA's plan. But the state's target was based on year-round power use and does not account for summertime spikes in demand, state officials say.

This idiot should be fired. We haven’t done enough damage to the environment already? There is no reason why we even need to use coal with all the potential for solar. Maybe Mr Darwin thinks we should be able to cook our food on the sidewalk without using a sotve
