It is almost never that I agree with the Cato institute but they are correct. This law is a waste of money that depending on where you stand on your philosophy of govt could be used for govt programs or lower taxes.
A lot of these mass migrations are directly and indirectly linked to global climate change..both here and abroad…against largescale immigration? Than do your part to fight global climate change…because with increasing global droughts it will only get worse
This bill certainly isn’t strong enough. We actually need National guard on the border for enforcement. Then the theater aspect would disappear and the cartels drug running enterprises would see a higher risk factor of doing their illegal and violent activities. Not to mention the ever present threat, the possibility of Islam extremists crossing the porous border to do us harm. This government has its head in the sand when it comes to protecting the border…..
