Immigration advocates happy at inaugural mention, eager for action

Latino groups, citing the mention of immigration reform and the prominent role Hispanics played in Monday's inauguration, said they are optimistic that President Barack Obama can move beyond words to action in his second term - and impatient for that to happen.

How about changing the headline…

I am an advocate of legal immigration. I am NOT an advocate of illegal immigration. See the difference there? For some reason I still don’t get, a lot of people can’t or won’t see the difference.

And isn’t tying issues of immigration to the Latino vote…you know, “profiling”? Isn’t profiling bad or something? I’m still waiting for someone to explain to me how profiling is OK in a situation like this but not OK at a traffic stop. I don’t think you should be able to have it both ways.
