I got a better idea…a balanced budget amendment. A lot simpler, and ethically the right thing to do. We are spending the money of people who haven’t even been born yet. That is wrong in so many ways. How in the world are we ever going to get out of debt and be solvent again if we keep digging ourselves deeper and deeper in?

We really should be cash-and-carry. If we worked to restore patriotism and nationalism, worked to eliminate useless programs and subsidies, worked to keep money and jobs here at home, and worked to ensure that only citizens and legal residents are working here, there’s no reason we would have to go into debt at all.
