Ruling: BP shooting not justified, man shot in back to be paid $500k

Jesus Castro Romo, a Mexican national who was shot in the back by Abel Canales, a Border Patrol agent during an incident in 2010, will be paid nearly half a million dollars because of his lingering injuries, a federal judge ruled.
