Flock to Arizona’s fall festivals

Scorching summer days are coming to end, which means comfortable sunny days are ahead for Arizona residents and tourists. Fall is the perfect season in the desert to get outside and enjoy time with friends and family. Take advantage of all fall has to offer in Arizona at one of these popular festivals.

October festivals

  • Oct. 3- 4. 4th Annual Earth Harmony Festival. The Annual Earth Harmony Festival is held at one of the world’s largest EcoVillages in Tumacacori, Arizona. This weekend celebrates eco-living and sustainability with live music, art, hands-on demonstrations, and garden tours. For more information, visit
  • Oct. 9- 11. 27th Annual Patagonia Fall Festival. This three-day festival attracts more than 15,000 visitors, according to the Patagonia Fall Festival website, and features a variety of talented musicians and artists.   • Oct. 9- 11. Tucson Meet Yourself Folklife Festival. Come celebrate the traditional arts and diverse ethic backgrounds of Southern Arizona and Northern Mexico.   • Oct. 16- 18. 85th Annual Helldorado Days. Helldorado Days in Tombstone features gunfight reenactments, street entertainment, 1880s themed fashion show, carnival and live music. For more information, visit

  • Nov. 7. Green Planet Festival. This green event in Phoenix features vegan and vegetarian cooking demonstrations, eco-friendly businesses and products, live music and activities for all ages. There will also be yoga, Pilates and fitness workshops. For more information, visit
  • Nov. 7. 13th Annual Page Lake Powell Hot Air Balloon Regatta. Come and admire a collection of colorful hot air balloons lift and float over the Lake Powell area. There will be a street fair during the day and balloon glow in the evening. For more information, visit
  • Nov. 21- 22. 10th Annual Pooch in the Park. This festival is all about you and your four-legged companion. With dog adoptions from local shelters, a dog show with prizes and pet-friendly carnival Pooch Party in the Park will get your pup’s tail wagging. This festival takes place in Lake Havasu, Arizona.
