Möda Provŏcateūr
Raising money in style: Fashion show benefits SAAF
The 11th Annual Möda Provŏcateūr show will feature Tucson fashion designers, salons and dancers and raise funds for the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation.
A salon showcase at the Sunday event will include Avalon for Hair, Skin & Nails; Ahead of Style; Salon de Nouveau; Ulta and Village Salon. Tucson dance groups BreakOut Studios and Artifact Dance Project will perform. Winning designs from Project Möda , a local fashion design contest, will be showcased on the runway.
SAAF formed in 1997 in the merger of three local organizations dedicated to spreading awareness about AIDS/HIV and providing services to those affected by the virus.
Tickets to Möda Provŏcateūr range from $30-40 for general admission to $135-145 for runway seats. They can be purchased online at saafmoda.saaf.org/purchase-tickets, at participating salons or by phone at 628-SAAF (7223).
