The plug was pulled on the U.S. Open Cup run of Tucson’s semi-pro soccer team Wednesday night. FC Tucson, after an electrifying pair of games that saw them move up to the third round, were blanked by the Houston Dynamo, 2-0. “We were in it until the very end,” coach Rick Schantz said. “I was proud of our guys.”... FC Tucson opened up their Premier Development League season on Saturday night at Kino Sports Park with a 3-1 win over the Southern California Seahorses.
