Koehler posts double-double but Pima men's basketball falls to Odessa College

The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (3-1) suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday against Division I team Odessa College.

The No. 1-ranked Aztecs (Division II) fell to the No. 7 ranked Wranglers 84-69 in the final day of the Aztec Classic at the West Campus Gymnasium.

Sophomore Kennedy Koehler finished with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. Fellow sophomore Abram Carrasco (Cholla HS) contributed with 13 points and five assists.

The Aztecs will kick off ACCAC conference play on Tuesday when they host Cochise College at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
