Men: Pima Aztecs 2 - GateWay Geckos 0
The Pima Community College men's soccer team scored two goals in the second half to beat GateWay Community College 2-0 on Saturday at the West Campus' Aztecs Field. Pima is on a four-game winning streak.
The score was tied at zero after the first half. The Aztecs got on the board after Kyle Cornell used a header to score in the 64th minute. Declan Fulton put the ball in play from the corner. Fulton scored the second goal for the Aztecs off a penalty kick in the 71st.
Tyler Wilson had two saves for the game as the Pima defense held GateWay to just two shots at the goal for the game.

The Aztec women's soccer team scored two goals in the first half and went on to defeat GateWay Community College 2-0 on Saturday at the West Campus' Aztecs Field. The Aztecs have won three straight and it was their second shutout in a row.
Ivonne Herrera scored on a second opportunity shot to get the Aztecs on the board in the 35th minute. Robyn Tolin added to the Pima lead in the 38th with her goal. Gisel Duarte had the assist.
The Aztecs out-shot GateWay 21-5 and Erika Heredia had one save.
Coming up
Both teams are facing Paradise Valley Community College on Tuesday afternoon at Aztec Field. The men are scheduled to start at 1 p.m., the women at 3:30 p.m.
