The Tucson Padres released their 2012 schedule Tuesday. Next year's season will find the baseball team playing at home slightly more, with more weekend dates and even a few day games at Kino Stadium.
"Our schedule is much better than 2011," said GM Mike Feder in a press release.
"We have more weekend dates than weekday dates. We also requested to be home July 3 instead of July 4, giving us the
opportunity to have multiple fireworks shows leading up to Independence Day," he said.
The Padres will play 72 games at Kino Stadium next year, up from 68 in 2011.
The Padres will play day games the first three Sundays of the season, the team said in the release.
The Padres also announced early bird specials of up to $150 off season ticket packages.
Full season box seats are available for $500, or $400 for those placing a deposit by Sept. 30. Fuull eason premier seats are $650, or $500 for early birds.
Weekend season tickets are $180, or $150 for early birds.
