Pima All-American wide receiver Cotton commits to University of Idaho

Pima Community College football player Jeff Cotton (Mountain View HS) is moving on to continue his collegiate career.

Cotton, a wide receiver, committed to play for the University of Idaho in Moscow, Ida. He will play in the Sun Belt Conference.

Cotton was named NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American after he caught 43 passes for 837 yards and six touchdowns this season. He played and started in all nine games and was first in the conference with 93.0 yards receiving per game. Cotton was also received first team All-WSFL and first team All-Region honors.

The 2017 season begins on Aug. 26 when the Aztecs play at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Tex.
