The Pima baseball team's season came to an end on Friday at Central Arizona College in the second game of the Region I Tournament.

The Aztecs lost 4-3 after the winning run was walked to home plate in the bottom of the ninth inning. Pima used three different pitchers and Santiago Romero (Sunnyside HS) took the loss. Dylan Schickel (Roy HS) hit an RBI single in the 2nd inning while Zach Sweety (Ironwood Ridge HS) had two hits and drove in a run.

The Aztecs finished the year with an overall record of 34-22.
