Grumpy old men.
Clint Eastwood is a grumpy old (sort of) Republican, and when he debated a chair during last week's Republican National Convention the Democratic National Committee got out its Rolodex to try to figure out what grumpy old Hollywood figure would best be able to return fire.
The consensus was that "Cuckoo's Nest" veteran Jack Nicholson should be the Democratic standard-bearer. The only remaining task is the selection of an appropriate chair.
