He was our drug dealer: Ahmed Wali Karzai, 1961-2011

Ahmed Wali Karzai, President Hamid Karzai's half brother, was assassinated by his head of security on July 12, 2011.

Karzai, who was reportedly (he denied it, but then, he would) on the CIA's payroll, has also often been accused of involvement in the Afghan drug trade and was accused of vote rigging in Afghanistan's 2009 presidential election.

One thing is for sure: when they not only assassinate you, but also bomb your memorial service, you were not well-liked.

“I am not a drug dealer, I never was and I never will be ... I am a victim of vicious politics.”
