Ethan Orr's (very) bad day (updated)

Freshman Republican legislator Ethan Orr has had better weeks.

First he lost his job at the nonprofit organization Linkages, then Democrats sued to remove him from the primary ballot, saying he had not collected enough legitimate nominating signatures. Finally, knowledgeable insiders said that GOP kingmaker Jim Click had cooled on Orr, and would be withdrawing his support for the candidate.

Click denies a rift, however, saying, "I don't have any disagreements with Ethan Orr. We have not had a falling out."
