Heading for the exits

The United States and NATO agreed last week to exit Afghanistan by the end of 2014, following President Obama's announcement that U.S. troops would pull out by that date.

That leaves the question of what will happen then. A question that, at this point — after 10 years of war and over 1,800 American deaths — not many Americans care about. And most Europeans are even more eager to see their troops leave.

Good luck to you, "President" Karzai.
