One of the planks of Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich's campaign platform is the establishment of an inhabited American colony on the moon, within eight years of his election.
Gingrich is apparently the only person on Earth who doesn't think that's an absolutely crazy idea, but 384,000 kilometers above us, a few guys are taking the possibility very, very seriously.
